Closing the Chapter: Presentation Day and Farewell for Fall 2024
Presentation Day
As part of the Japanese VI class taught by Prof. Iino, a presentation on the theme “My Study Abroad in Japan” was held in January. The exchange students shared their experiences and discoveries from their time in Japan, delivering their presentations beautifully in Japanese! It was truly a wonderful experience. We could see how much the exchange students had improved, both in the Japanese language and as individuals. Their growth was evident in their presentations, and it was clear that they had a great time at Tokiwa, creating lasting memories and friendships. The presentations were a true reflection of their hard work and left everyone feeling inspired.
International Hall (dormitory) Farewell Party
The Japanese students at the International Hall came together to show their gratitude for their roommates, with whom they shared a unique living experience. They created thoughtful signature boards with personal messages, reflecting the meaningful connections they’ve built. The International Centre also gave the departing students a Yunomi (Japanese teacup) and a card as a small token of appreciation.
