Utilizing the academic resources of the university, the Community Collaboration Center functions as a support system for the people in the local community who wish to learn. Through “Open College” (public courses), the center plans and manages classes from various fields, including liberal arts, language study, computer training and business.

The Community Collaboration Center strives to develop the connection between the local community and society by managing courses commissioned by programs for working adults and public agencies. As a second school within the university, many students also utilize the center as an emphasis is placed on career assistance for students.

The center also operates as a comprehensive agency that cooperates with local governments, businesses and citizen groups to face issues challenging the community. Through diverse activities, the Community Collaboration Center offers the university’s academic, human and material resources to the public as well as contributes to the development and advancement of the local community.
